On Sunday April 16th, 2018 in the Music Hall of Hotel Ca’ Sagredo in Venice a celebration was held to present the book ” Giorgio Cambissa, Catalogo ragionato” including the artist biography and all his compositions commented by M.Donninelli, as well the performance of some of his chamber Music compositions.
The book was published to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his death. A renowned Composer and Orchestra conductor who held important institutional role. In 1975 he was awarded the Gold Medal of the Honorary Members of School, Culture and Art. In 1985 the President of the Italian Republic Mr. Pertini awarded him with the Honour of Grand Officer of Merit of the Italian Republic.
A concert was also held where some works of his Chamber Music composition were played.
